Therapy for Children

Think Happy, Feel Happy, Grow Happy!

Hypnotherapy is a gentle and helpful way for children to learn about their feelings and how to handle them in a healthy and happy way. It also helps them to build their confidence from the inside out!

I take a solution-focused approach, which means we look at what your child wants to feel or do more of, rather than getting stuck on the problem. I help them notice the strengths they already have and explore the goals they’re aiming for.

Children often feel comforted knowing it’s perfectly okay to have ‘wonky thoughts’ — we all do! From there, we gently work together on how they’d like to feel instead, and discover the tools already inside them to help get there.

Specialist Support for Children

Therapeutic Tools for Little Minds Facing Big Feelings

Children tend to take to hypnotherapy really well — it often feels like a fun, calming adventure to them! As a Hypno4Children™ practitioner, I am specially trained not only in Hypnotherapy and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), but also in how to work gently and effectively with children. As a primary school teacher, I understand what it can feel like to be in the classroom every day. That helps me know how to support children when things feel tricky or confusing, and find ways to make things feel better.

Alongside Hypnotherapy, I bring in other trusted approaches — like CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Positive Psychology and coaching, Tapping (also known as EFT/Thought Field Therapy), and more, to give each child the best possible support in whatever they are going through.

How I Work

I work from home in a calming woodland setting, where your child can feel completely at ease and comfortable to chat about whatever is challenging them.

We will work together as a team to explore what it is that is holding your child back and find strategies just for them, to support them in moving forward.

Using the MINDHACK system, I teach how the mind and brain works, helping children to understand themselves better and also see that they can change things for the better.
